The EWM Microplasma 25-2 is a welding machine with standard gas metering unit, water cooler, and Plasma and TIG functions. Includes 3.5m mains supply lead and EWM parts and labour warranty*.
Key Features:
- 0.3A-20A
- 230V
- Plasma gas setting range 0.1 l/min to 0.9 l/min
- Shielding gas setting range 1.0 l/min to 17 l/min
- Plasma and TIG welding
- Plasma and pulsed TIG welding
- Plasma and pulsed TIG welding up to the kHz range allow a high welding speed with minimal heat input using a constricted arc
- Plasma and TIG welding current adjustable in 0.1 A increments
- Pilot arc current separately adjustable for start phase, welding phase, end-crater and welding break
- Temperature, flow and pressure monitoring for the coolant circuit
- Non-latched/latched operation
- Spot welding/tack function (spotArc/spotmatic)
- Adjustable up-slope and down-slope time
- Spotmatic – reduce the time required for tacking by up to 50% (TIG only)
- Adjustable gas pre- and post-flow time
- Non-interchangeable connections for all mediums
- Welding torch connection using quick connect coupling
- Connection capability for remote control
- Two system connections (e.g. for ewm Xnet)
- All control elements and connections for welding torches, remote controls and workpiece leads are directly accessible on the front of the machine
- Microplasma and Cool 50 MPW50, mobile with Trolly 55-6
- No additional mains connection required for cooling unit. Power supply to the Cool 50 MPW50 via the Microplasma
- Alternatively, at high currents, duty cycles and ambient temperatures, a separate recooling unit can be used (the recooling unit does not fit under the Microplasma or on the Trolly 55-6)
- Optional network connectivity with ewm Xnet software via LAN or WiFi gateway
- Always read the information in the operating instructions of the relevant welding torch and welding machine before carrying out any welding.
