Optrel Helix Quattro Air Fed Welding Helmet System

The Optrel Helix Quattro is the perfect helmet for extreme performance. This helmet features a sliding welding filter built into the helmet which allows the user to easily switch from a clear lens to a protective welding filter. This helmet has a cut out nose feature which places the glare shield closer to the eyes resulting in a much wider field of vision, making welding easier when working in awkward positions or viewing angles. The welding filter provides shade protection from 4-14 with an EN379 classification of 1/1/1/1. ShadeTronic® technology monitors the intensity of the welding arc and automatically adjusts the protection settings whilst FadeTronic® technology gradually  opens the ADF after welding to reduce eye strain from afterglow, giving the eyes a smoother transition. With a fully adjustable IsoFit® head cradle this helmet not only provides maximum protection but also maximum comfort. This ready to weld helmet system also includes the Optrel belt PAPR system which provides reliable protection against smoke, aerosols and dust. The air is directed from the PAPR pack that sits on the lower back up the hose pipe into the helmet. The PAPR unit has an 18-hour standard battery and easily adjustable air flow. The Ready to weld package includes the Helix Quattro Air Fed Helmet with IsoFit® headgear, e3000x Blower Unit, high quality leather belt, TH3 filter and prefilter, standard 18 hour battery, parking buddy, connection hoses and branded carry bag.
